Man charged with murder after body found in driveway in Sydney's west

A man has been charged with murder after another man was found dead in the driveway of a Sydney home yesterday afternoon.

Emergency services were called to Dargie Street at Mount Pritchard in the city's west after residents reported an altercation outside of the property about 3.15pm.

Paramedics attempted to save the 60-year-old man but he died at the scene.

Emergency services were called to Dargie Street in Mount Pritchard this afternoon.

A 42-year-old man was arrested at the scene and taken to Fairfield Police Station where he has been charged with murder.

He was denied bail and will front Parramatta Local Court today.

Police had cordoned off the street to investigate the circumstances of the death.
