Man threatened massage worker with knife during robbery

A man who threatened a massage parlour worker with a knife in northern Melbourne is being hunted by police.

Police today released a CCTV photo of the unknown man wanted over three aggravated burglaries and an armed robbery at separate massage parlours.

On Tuesday, August 27, about 11.30pm, he went to a parlour on Spring Street in Reservoir and stole mobile phones from the staff-only area before fleeing.

The next day he entered another massage parlour on Tuscan Court in Thomastown about 2am where he paid for services with a mobile phone stolen the previous day.

The man left the premises and returned at 2pm when he entered the staff area and stole a purse belonging to a worker.

Weeks later, about 6.30pm on Tuesday, September 17, he returned to the Tuscan Court parlour and stole a staff member's purse before leaving.

The unknown man went back there on Saturday, 19 October about 2.45am and threatened a worker with a knife while demanding cash.

He left the massage parlour without physically injuring the staff member.

It is understood the man approached a staff member and produced a knife, making demands for cash.

The man took an amount of cash and left the premises without physically injuring the staff member.
