A man has been arrested in the Melbourne CBD after allegedly stealing more than $60,000 worth of vinyl records from a string of stores.
Police investigated reports of a man who attended various electronic stores on at least 13 occasions in the past four months, allegedly taking a handful of LPs each time.
After using CCTV to identify a suspect, police arrested a 33-year-old man at a La Trobe Street store on May 22.

Officers also carried out a search warrant in North Melbourne and seized more than 400 vinyl records, along with a small amount of heroin and marijuana.
A North Melbourne man is expected to be charged on summons for multiple shop thefts.
Police continue to investigate whether "numerous" record thefts in nearby suburbs are linked.
