Up to half of Australian adults are expected to have an entry in today's Powerball $150 million draw, according to lottery officials.
The third biggest prize ever offered by the lottery game will be drawn at about 8.30pm (AEST).
The money is up for grabs after there were no division one winners in the past six draws.

The Lott spokesperson Matt Hart said there have only ever been five draws that have offered a jackpot of $150 million or more.
"If just one person takes home this $150 million prize on Thursday night, they'll make history by becoming the nation's biggest-ever individual lottery winner," Hart said.
"The last time Powerball offered a $150 million prize was in January this year when the peak of sales was at 6.15pm on the day of the draw when 7455 tickets were sold in a single minute."
While statisticians say there is a greater chance of being hit by lightning than winning the top Powerball prize, history shows someone can become instant multi-millionaires by holding the right ticket.
Back in 2019, a Sydney nurse became Australia's current biggest individual lottery winner when she won more than $107 million.
