Five victims of Bondi stabbing attack remain in hospital, baby discharged

Five victims of the Bondi Junction stabbing attack remain in hospitals across Sydney today after as a nine-month-old baby injured in the rampage was discharged.

New South Wales Health overnight provided an update on the condition of victims.

A man and a woman are in a stable condition at St Vincent's Hospital.

At Royal Prince Alfred Hospital a man and woman remain in a stable condition.

A woman is in stable condition at Royal North Shore Hospital.

Six people died when Joel Cauchi embarked on a stabbing spree at Westfield Bondi Junction in Sydney's eastern suburbs on April 13.

NSW Health Minister Ryan Park said the nine-month-old baby who was stabbed in the attack has been discharged from hospital but continues to receive care from expert clinicians at Sydney Children's Hospital.

The child had previously been in a stable condition.

The baby's 38-year-old mother, Ashlee Good, was among six people killed during the stabbing attack at Westfield Bondi Junction on April 13.

She died while trying to save her young child.

Yesterday thousands of people gathered for a sombre candlelight vigil to remember the six lives lost in the stabbings.
