Police are investigating whether the two separate collisions early this morning were linked and told 9News they were aware of videos circulating on social media.
In the first clip, a cyclist is seen riding on the left-hand side of the road as a car approaches.
The cyclist's back flashes onto the screen before a loud thud is heard and the window of the car smashes, before the driver drives off.
In a second, short clip the blurred outline of a cyclist can be seen before the car ploughs into him and the window smashes.
Both clips were filmed from inside the car and don't show the occupants of the vehicle.

An allegedly stolen car was found in Central Avenue in Black Rock around 8.50am.
Police are investigating if the vehicle was involved in both collisions.
CCTV vision supplied to police showed a person in a black hoodie in the area at the time of the collisions, with the video captured from nearby homes.
Local resident Vanessa said she had supplied video to police which showed a person dumping a smashed-in car outside her house, while a getaway car sped down the street.
"I was on my way to the gym when I saw the windscreen was smashed in a way that you would imagine somebody or something had been hit," she told Nine radio station 3AW.
"It's horrific, it's just next level.
"It's pretty distressing to know that they're innocently doing their exercise and they get targeted."
