Police are searching for a group of men who attempted to kidnap another man at a petrol station in Sydney's north west.
Police said the group forced the victim into a car outside a petrol station on Windsor Road in Vineyard about 6.20pm on July 7 last year.
"The man was able to flee and was uninjured, while the unknown men left the scene in a white Mitsubishi Pajero which was later found burnt out in Macquarie Fields," NSW Police said in a statement.

The serious crime squad have released CCTV in hopes the men can be identified.
"One man is described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, solid build, bald with black mullet hair style," police said.
"He was wearing a black jacket with a white t-shirt, black trackpants and black shoes.
"Another man is also described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance and medium build.
"He was wearing a black face covering, a black, grey and white coloured hooded jumper, grey trackpants and white shoes.
"A third man was seen wearing a black balaclava, black jumper, black pants, and white shoes."
Investigations are ongoing.
