More than 100 firefighters have rushed to the scene of a large fire that engulfed a warehouse in Sydney's west early this morning.
Major traffic delays are expected around Girraween as a result, with the Great Western Highway closed in both directions between Beresford and Greystanes Road.
Diversions are in place and motorists are advised to avoid the area.

A NSW Department of Fire and Emergency Services spokesman said crews responded to the blaze on the Great Western Highway in Girraween about 2am.
The spokesperson said fire crews were confronted with a "well-developed" fire that was spreading rapidly through the building, which houses multiple businesses.
Most of the building has been destroyed, along with caravans, trucks and cars, according to the spokesperson.
There were no injuries reported.
Acting Commissioner of Fire and Rescue NSW Jeremy Fewtrell told Weekend Today that more 20 trucks remained on the scene about 7am.

He said firefighters were forced to tackle the blaze from a distance after the roof collapsed.
"The building has collapsed throughout the whole structure and there are little pockets of fire under the walls and roof," he said.
The Great Western Highway remains closed in both directions.
