Iraq plans to expand oil export capacity from next year

Iraq plans to start increasing oil export capacity, according to its OPEC delegate, Bloomberg reports. According to the report, the country prepares to add a total of 1 million to 1.5 million barrels a day by 2025. The project involves rehabilitating the southern Khor Al-Amaya port and marine pipelines, Mohammed Saadoon, Iraq's National Representative at OPEC and a deputy Director-General of the state-run oil marketing company known as SOMO, said in an interview on state-run Iraqiya TV, the report added.
