Two people have been arrested after an alleged shooting in Melbourne's west this morning.
Police believe there was an altercation between three people near a fast-food restaurant in St Albans about 8.45am.
It's alleged a firearm was discharged and one shot was fired at a blue Holden Commodore.

A Victoria Police spokesperson said a man and woman involved in the altercation fled in the vehicle and headed towards a hospital on Furlong Road.
"The Commodore (then) collided with a marked police vehicle responding to the incident," the spokesperson said.
"The man and woman got out of the Commodore and fled on foot in different directions."
The spokesperson said the woman was arrested inside the hospital and the man was arrested about a block away.
Both are currently in custody and assisting with enquiries.
The other person involved in the initial altercation remains on the run.
