The economy remains the prime concern for voters above climate change ahead of the upcoming federal election, according to an exclusive nine.com.au reader poll.
And Prime Minister Scott Morrison has an apparent trust advantage over Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese.
The latest nine.com.au reader poll, of 481 users*, shows 53 per cent of responders thought Mr Morrison the more trustworthy leader, compared to 47 per cent for Mr Albanese.

And 58 per cent of responders nominated the economy as the country's top priority, with 42 per cent selecting climate change.
It comes after several Labor leaders launched recent attacks on the Prime Minister's credibility.
ALP national president Wayne Swan said Mr Morrison was "eroding" the public's trust with his stance against a federal ICAC.

Mr Morrison labelled ICAC a "kangaroo court" over its treatment of former NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian.

Victoria Premier Daniel Andrews also recently criticised Mr Morrison, accusing him of "double-speak" and pandering to anti-vaccine extremists.
Some protesters outside Victorian Parliament earlier this month erected a fake gallows and hanged Mr Andrews in effigy.
Mr Morrison said in response he condemned all threats and acts of violence, but that the extreme responses did not reflect the "frustration" Australians felt at overbearing government restrictions.

No date has been set for the federal election, but it is due by May next year.
Mr Morrison has repeatedly confirmed the election will be held in 2022, ruling out the possibility of a snap poll this year.
