New South Wales has recorded 864 new local cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.
Fifteen people died with the virus.
Today marks the first weekday where a press conference was not held in the state since the state of the pandemic.

Instead the case numbers were announced via a video livestream posted on the NSW Health Facebook page.
Meanwhile, the New South Wales town of Kyogle will be cut out of the Queensland-NSW border bubble after it was placed into lockdown.
But Walgett will be readmitted to the bubble after its lockdown was lifted.
The changes to the border bubble were announced by Queensland's Chief Health Officer Jeannette Young.
"New South Wales has removed the restrictions on Walgett. So we will similarly put them back into the border zone, allowing that small amount of movement," Dr Young said.
"So that will happen from 1am tomorrow, and New South Wales has put stay-at-home restrictions in place for Kyogle. So we will also put those higher levels of restrictions in place for there from 1am tomorrow."
Stay-at-home orders came into force at midnight for the Kyogle and Narromine council areas.
The restrictions will last until October 11, and also apply to anybody who has been in the Kyogle LGA since September 21, and the Narromine LGA since September 28.

Lockdowns have also been extended for number of other regional areas across NSW.
The Central Darling Shire will leave lockdown as scheduled today.
NSW recorded 941 new local cases of COVID-19 and six further deaths yesterday.
